About the Brand
el mono home is a New York City based homeware brand, born from a burning desire to slow down. "Piano piano" as the Italian's would say. To stop, sit for a meal, invite your loved ones over, put your phone away and be encouraged to entertain again. The art of slowing down.
The process of making a single Murano glass is inherited from centuries of tradition. The glass master ("maestro") only produces one glass at a time - blowing, wielding and heating - until it has formed its unique and organic shape. This manual process results in each piece being perfectly imperfect and we wouldn't have it any other way.
